ACCESSIBILITY POLICY

Care should be easy to find, use, and understand.

CarnivalWell is working to make our digital spaces more accessible for people with disabilities and for everyone who comes here for practical Carnival care.

01 / OUR COMMITMENT

A welcoming digital space is part of community care.

We want people to be able to understand our guides, navigate our pages, and contact our team without unnecessary barriers. Accessibility is an ongoing practice that shapes how we design, write, review, and improve CarnivalWell.

02 / OUR APPROACH

We use recognized guidance to make better decisions.

We aim to use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA as a practical guide for improvements. This statement describes our current approach and ongoing work; it is not a certification or a guarantee that every experience will be the same for every person or device.

03 / FEATURES WE WORK TOWARD

Clear pathways through the site.

  • Keyboard-friendly navigation and visible focus states for interactive controls.
  • Readable color contrast, meaningful headings, and descriptive alternative text for important imagery.
  • Clear labels, instructions, and feedback for forms and key actions.
  • Responsive layouts that support zooming, reflow, and a range of screen sizes.

04 / KNOWN LIMITATIONS

Compatibility can vary.

We continue to review this site as content and features evolve. Older browsers, personal assistive-technology settings, external links, and third-party services may create experiences we cannot fully control. If something is difficult to use, tell us what happened so we can investigate and help.

05 / FEEDBACK AND SUPPORT

Let us know where access breaks down.

Email hello@carnivalwell.org with the page or feature you were using, what you were trying to do, and any assistive technology or browser details you are comfortable sharing. We will review the issue and work to provide support or an alternative format where reasonably possible.

06 / REVIEW AND IMPROVEMENT

Accessibility work continues after launch.

We review new pages, updates, feedback, and important user journeys as part of ongoing site maintenance. We will update this policy as our tools, content, and accessibility practices evolve.
